The goal of controlling the overpopulation of cats and kittens in our community is very important - we all know that the best way to accomplish this is to have our feline friends spayed or neutered.

Did you know that having your cat spayed or neutered also has significant health benefits?

Having your male cat neutered:

  • Reduces his urge to roam, which protects him from dangers such as cars and predators
  • Prevents him from fighting, which protects him from diseases such as Feline Leukemia and FIP
  • Protects him from testicular tumors and prostate problems

Having your female cat spayed:

  • Prevents her from having an unexpected litter of kittens
  • Reduces health problems such as uterine and ovarian tumors
  • Reduces the chances of mammary cancer
